Grace Muñoz, MFA
Hello There!
Grace was born on the Northside of Chicago and currently resides in Indiana where she is the Assistant Professor of Costume Design and Technology at Indiana State University, Department of Theater. Grace earned her MFA in Costume Design from University of Idaho and has worked in professional theaters all across the country. Some of the more notable places she has worked include Opera Saratoga in New York, Maples Repertory Theatre in Missouri, The Lilly Theatre at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and Crossroads Repertory Theatre. While at Eastern Illinois University, Grace concentrated her studies on design, technology, and performance in theater. Grace enjoys designing costumes and props for theatre, particularly in a very collaborative environment. She has also had the pleasure of designing, and building puppets and has worked as a foley artist both in her academic and professional career. When not working in theatre, Grace enjoys creating pieces from movies and video games for her friends’ cosplays, crocheting, dabbling in quilting, playing with her three BEAUTIFUL cats, Miss Stubbins, Chiquita, and Aria, and rescuing every houseplant she sees!
